Legal Notice and Intellectual Property: Pekumia
1. Identification and Ownership
In compliance with the provisions of Article 10 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), as well as current transparency regulations, it is reported that the web application Pekumia is a technological project in the development phase (Beta) co-directed and managed by Alba Cruz Carmona and Álvaro Rosa Zamora, who act as co-responsible parties for the project.As this is currently a software project in the testing phase without economic activity or a constituted legal entity, the location for information purposes is established in Palma del Río, Spain. The following email address is established as the sole and direct channel for any legal or technical communication or notification: support@pekumia.com.
Pekumia is offered as a tool for personal and free use. The Owners reserve the right to modify the nature of the service, which may evolve toward commercial or subscription models (at which time this section will be updated with the corresponding mercantile and tax data), following notification to users and the update of these terms.
2. Intellectual and Industrial Property
The name Pekumia, its logo, interface design (UI), user experience (UX), statistical graphics, as well as the source code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases, and server scripts) are the exclusive property of the Owner or its licensors (governed by the Spanish Intellectual Property Law).- Reservation of Rights: Any reproduction, distribution, or public communication of the elements of the website without express authorization is prohibited.
- Prohibition of Reverse Engineering: It is strictly prohibited to decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform. Any attempt to breach the logical structure of the software will be treated as an infringement.
- User Content: The economic data manually entered by the user belongs to the user. Pekumia only acts as a technical processor to display statistics. The processing of this personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
3. Terms of Use and Registration
Access to Pekumia requires the creation of an account. The user agrees to:- Be over 18 years of age (or over 14 years of age with the express authorization of their legal guardians).
- Provide truthful information during registration.
- Make diligent use of their password, being solely responsible for its confidentiality.
- Not use the tool for illegal purposes or to saturate the server infrastructure.
4. Limitation of Liability
- Nature of the Tool: Pekumia is a management and data visualization application. The Owner is not a financial advisor and does not offer investment, tax, or legal advice. The calculations and statistics shown are for informational purposes only.
- Data Loss: Although security measures are applied, the Owner is not responsible for the loss of information resulting from technical failures, external attacks, or misuse by the user. Users are recommended to maintain external backups.
